Mark Forlenza is a career professional with over 25 years of experience in the development, construction, and management of residential real estate. Prior to joining Spinnaker, Mr. Forlenza was an Officer with AvalonBay Communities, Inc. where he was responsible for the development and construction of rental communities in Connecticut and New York State. Previously, Mr. Forlenza held a number of positions at Ginsburg Development including President, and a variety of construction related functions. In total, Mr. Forlenza has managed the development of over $2.5 billion of residential real estate in over 30 communities.
Mr. Forlenza was awarded his Masters in Business Administration and his Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 where he was elected Beta Gamma Sigma and graduated with high honors. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Fordham University where he graduated summa cum laude.
In addition, Mr. Forlenza either serves or has served on a number of civic associations including the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, The Town of Brookfield's Republican Town Committee, Brookfield's Zoning Commission and Board of Appeals; and a variety of volunteer roles in Habitat for Humanity, Developers Council, and the Brookfield School System.
