Laurel Apartments is a 205-unit luxury residential complex that is a component of the much larger Laurel Building. The Laurel is part of Spinnaker's rapidly emerging Mercantile Exchange (MX) District under development in downtown St. Louis. Laurel Apartments join the recently completed 212-room Embassy Suites Downtown St. Louis in the Laurel Building, which is part of a multi-phased $250 million MX project being developed by Spinnaker St. Louis, an affiliate of Spinnaker Real Estate Partners. The Laurel Building will also include 35,000 square feet of retail space and the National Blues Museum, a 23,000-square-foot interactive facility that is expected to open its doors in 2013, thus completing the $150-million Laurel Building development.
